Dear Member Societies in the Asia-Pacific Region,

IARU Region 3 hereby issues an official notice regarding a request received from the President of ORARI (the Indonesian Amateur Radio Organization).

*ORARI has requested the cooperation of all Member Societies and amateur radio operators in the Asia-Pacific region to temporarily clear certain amateur frequencies in order to support ongoing emergency communication activities being conducted by ORARI in North Sumatera, Indonesia.*

*Member Societies and amateur radio operators in the Asia-Pacific region are respectfully asked to take note of the frequency list below and ensure that these frequencies remain free from regular or routine communication traffic.*
